Together with the DoJ&CD, the FHR funded a national training in LGBTIQ+ rights for government service providers. The training took the form of ‘train-the-trainer’ trainings in each province. The training included a comprehensive discussion on the rights of LGBTIQ+ people, and the responsibility of government officials to assist LGBTIQ+ people and treat them with equality, dignity and respect. The training reached over 60 government officials nationally.
