The FHR took the lead in a partnership with UN Women, the Human Rights Institute of South Africa (HURISA), the South African Women in Dialogue (SAWID) and Government to support and facilitate the convening of provincial dialogues with civil society and women’s grassroots movements. The aim of this partnership was to develop an implementation strategy for Women, Peace and Security commitments in South Africa. The outcome of these dialogues was a Consolidated Report of the Civil Society Provincial Findings on Peace and Security Matters affecting Women in South Africa.
