Domestic violence is estimated to be the largest cause of deaths worldwide in women aged between 19 and 44, greater than war, cancer or motor vehicle accidents. Abuse of children, the most vulnerable members of our society is inexcusable.
The scourge of violence against women and children needs the whole of society to unite in our efforts to end it as well as to bring perpetrators to book.
