On 10 December 2008, International Human Rights day, the Deputy President, the Hononurable Ms Baleka Mbete launched the “Access to Justice and Promotion of Constitutional Rights Programme (Strengthening Civil Society Participation)”, for the period 2009 to 2013, funded by the EU through sector budget support in Orange Farm. Today sees the launch of the implementation phase of this programme with our implementing partner, the Foundation for Human Rights (FHR).
